hsee.iitm.ac.in Admission Form Overview
Required Qualification: Candidates want to obtain
admission in this institute they must have passed for the first time or
should be appearing in any one of the following qualifying
examinations.
Final exam of the 10+2 system, conducted by a Central or State
Board recognized by the Association of Indian Universities and passed
Intermediate or two-year Pre-University examination.
Final exam of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of
the National Defence Academy Senior Secondary School Exam conducted by the
National Institute of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects
Application Fee:
- For female and SC, ST, PWD candidates: Rs. 1100/-
- For all other candidates: Rs. 2200/-.
- Additionally, the service charges of the Bank will be Rs.35/-
Mode of
payment of Fee: Candidates need to pay fee through Net Banking / Credit Card /
Debit Card or through the Indian Bank Challan generated during the process of
application.
Method of selection: Selection of candidates
will be made as per performance in Humanities and Social Sciences Entrance
Exam.
Exam
Pattern: Duration of exam is of three hours and it contains two parts.
- Part 1: Consists topics such as English and comprehension skills, Analytical and Quantitative Ability, General Studies covering the areas of Indian Economics and Environment and Ecology (150 Minutes).
- Part 2: Essay on general topic involving description, or/and reflection or/and discussion (30 Minutes).
Examination
Cities for HSEE:
Entrance examination will be conducted in the following 12
cities: Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chennai, Coimbatore, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kochi,
Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi, Thiruvananthapuram, Varanasi.
